A Blogger is Born

Hello World!
A large part of my job, Community Relations, is communicating and connecting various communities - those on campus, in the immediate neighborhood, the city, state, etc. - so a blog seems to make sense. I'm hoping that this will also allow me to keep people informed without overwhelming them with numerous e-mails :-)

As this is a new project for a new year, I'll keep this brief and end here.
