Week of Peace for Palestine and Israel



Monday, September 17th – Friday, September 21st

Monday the 17th: History of the Conflict 101. Benbow Hall, 7:15pm.
This will be an informational session about Palestine and Israel’s history leading up to current events.

Tuesday the 18th: The Dialogue Project: Conversation and Perspective. Benbow Hall, 11:30am.
Dialogue Project is a group from Brooklyn, NY dedicated to expressing and facilitating conversations around the differing opinions about the conflict between Palestine and Israel and the future of the two entities.

Wednesday the 19th: Video and photo Project: Julie Norman. Hagan Amphitheater, 7pm.
Presentation of short films and discussion of photos displayed in the Brossman Center, around life in Palestine and Israel, especially for Palestinian children.

Thursday the 20th: Movie: Encounter Point. Hagan Amphitheater, 7:30 pm. Compline, 10 p.m.
A movie about hope in the region - Palestinians and Israelis coming together for peace. Please feel free to bring your own snacks or drinks. Discussion will follow. Compline will be based around Peace for Palestine and Israel this evening.

Friday the 21st: Vigil for Peace for Israel and Palestine. All day in the Chapel.
Resources will be made available to guide you in prayer, or feel free to sit, reflect and pray for peace in your own way.
